We are seeking employees for Senior SharePoint Specialist position with the following requirements
Primary Skills Required
2+ years experience as a designer and developer of Microsoft SharePoint solutions (preferably MOSS 2007).
Can install, administer, configure, and/or troubleshooting SharePoint portal server environment.
Must have extensive background as a developer in Microsoft technology environments (.NET, ASP, BizTalk are desirable skills).
Ability to lead customers through lifecycle implementation of Sharepoint-based portal applications.
Working knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005
Alternative Requirements Experience with SharePoint installation and setup, SQL Analysis or Reporting Services desirable. Background in enterprise application integration also a plus Soft Skills Strong communication skills a must Able to work independently and with initiative Able to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders Proven ability to provide technical leadership to teams Able to learn technologies quickly and *on the job* Preferred Background Technical Lead or Architect at a systems integrator or Microsoft infrastructure partner In-house Lead or Architect at mid-market to large (500+ desktop) IT organization with a heavy Microsoft footprint Responsibilities
Meet with business users to conduct requirements analysis and perform systems analysis.
Work with business users to gather requirements, write functional and technical specifications.
Provide subject matter expertise and insight into collaboration and/or content management applications.
Design and develop information design and portal navigation layout for Sharepoint-based applications.
Conduct testing including all phases; systems, integration and performance and ensuring traceability.
