Description:
JOB PURPOSE: Oracle applications DBA is responsible for application' s installing, maintaining, updating and fixing and maintaining up time and availability for all the application' 's technology stack products. Duties and Tasks : . Have hands on experience on Oracle e-Business Suite 11i (preferable 11.5.10 ) for Installations , Patching, upgrading, cloning and maintaining tasks . Performing daily and weekly planned backup procedures according to approved backup plan . Monitoring / managing database’s storage growth and optimize the use of available hardware . Addressing / solving database problems as early as possible on daily basis . Maintaining Oracle network for both web or client / server architectures . Maintaining apps security at all times by co-operating with system and security administrators . Installing all Oracle development tools for all users including building accompanied repositories . Doing all Oracle system administration tasks as an essential responsibility . Maintaining all Oracle software on client PCs . Perform and update of operational tasks documentations

Qualifications:
o Bachelor Degree o Oracle Apps DBA knowledgeable for the following . Installing / maintaining Oracle Applications 11i ( Preferable 11.5.10 ) . Backup / Recovery techniques for both of database and apps including using RMAN o Oracle Apps system administration tasks for release 11i o Oracle 9i /10g releases of RDBMS o Operating system MS Windows ( server platform ) 2003 o

Experience: 1-3 Years.

Other Skills :
Extra Skills appreciated: . Oracle Application Server 10g - installation / maintenance . Oracle development products – installation / maintenance . Scripting language ( Perl , Kshell ….) o Certification – Preferred : . Oracle Certified Professional – DBA 9i / 10g o Must be a team player , enthusiastic and willing to work and learn around the clock
